    TV in my shop

Ok, my shop is about 120ft from the house, and am wanting to put a TV in there. We have satellite in the house, and was wondering if there was any way to get it to the shop. Can a person run some coax that far, and still have a good signal? I do know I would have to get another box for out...

    Bend Pak 4-post

Question for those of you with Bend Pak 4-post: The air release button for the safety locks, when I push mine, you can hear air bleeding off from the back of it... is it suppose to do this? Reason I'm asking, I got an air bottle with mine, and it will store 50psi of air, but will not activate...

Shipping company dropped this off Friday, at the house... got it put together yesterday. It's a Sunex 7793B. Weighs like 200lbs, with 1000lbs capacity. Time to pull the ****** on the Lightning, and replace that rear main... and another buddy wants a torque converter installed in his.

HD-9XW is together, and powered up!!

I have zero free time during the week (due to my 240 miles per day round trip commute), so I had to do what I could on the weekend... along with my other duties. Took me three weekends, but got it fired up yesterday. Parked the Lightning on it today, and let it ride up and down, to see if what I...

    Bugs

What does everyone do to help eliminate bugs from their shop? I've got 2400sqf of shop, and I must have swept up 3lbs of dead bugs out of it this weekend. Of course, it is that time of year for the bugs. They are dead once they enter the shop, because I spray the perimeter, outside and inside...

Thanks go out to Jeff @ Bend Pak

I'd like to give thanks to Jeff (JSK) @ Bend Pak for providing information on a 4-post lift. He answered all my questions. He even contacted one of his vendors, who in turn contacted me to get the ball rolling on my order. Dave @ Workshop Depot, got in contact with me, and we got the stuff I...

    Electrical loads

I'm adding a bathroom in my shop. In doing so, I'm going to have an exhaust fan/light in it. I have 9 110v outlets at numerous spots inside the shop (3 to a circuit)... each circuit on a 20 amp breaker. My thought was to just tap into one of these for the supply to the exhaust fan/light in the...

Started framing my shop bathroom today

Picked up wood yesterday, and started framing today. Would be further along, but I bruised a rib/pulled a muscle, and it is making slow going on my part. First time doing anything like this, along with using a nail gun... so far, no nails through any body parts. LOL

Looking for info on a type of HVAC...

Was up in Austin (it's up from where I am ;) ) at this place that sells outdoor furniture. They had a warehouse with all the furniture setup inside, and they had this unique HVAC system. The outside part of it, was one of those all-in-one, like the ones you see hanging off the sides of...
