    Craftsman 19.2v C3 Fans

absolutely dumb. It's going to make life, for people who buy them, absolutely mad finding the right one if/when sears sells a good amount of them.

    Spreading the Bonney affliction!

On the streamlines, could someone post up that catalog list of all the sizes again? Combo and DOE, I lost it when my computer crashed. Found a 1168 last week! Believe I'm down to 2 combo's that I need.

    Craftsman wavy logo???

So I started cleaning up some of the tools in this box I bought yesterday, and ran across this: Never saw a Craftsman tool marked that way. That’s the original 1927 logo, right? Was that style used on anything else? Post it up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Craftsman tool prices on Ebay

Yup, when I see them cheap I snag them up. DBE’s and Combos go quick, open end not as quick. The extra money made on eBay is what I roll back into buying another box for the one or two things I actually wanted out of it. But prices are higher now than they were 5 years ago or so when I started...

    Spiral Ratchet Screwdrivers

Tools Spotted On My European Vacation

This reminds me, next time you're in Philly, the Franklin Institute has a few Williams railroad wrenches on display in the train exhibit. Believe they are close to period correct, iirc.

    Spiral Ratchet Screwdrivers

I have a project for the kids later that, after reading this, will require the use of the couple that I have! I turned down one yesterday because the spring was broken. But after I showed the guy that they were literally made miles from him 60 years ago, I think I turned another guy into...

    Soc-Kit hex Drive Socket set?

Picked up this cool little socket set at the flea market this morning. The socket holder is what caught my eye. I can’t make out the brand of this Soc-Kit set and found zero on google. Set no 555. Anyone have any clues? Looks like _____ Stone Mfg Co. Buffalo, NY. Sockets themselves are...

    BEFORE & AFTER....A Tool Polisher's Haven

Anytime, I was actually going to use it for air brushing and adapt it down to 1/8" hose for that, but still haven't gotten around to it lol

    BEFORE & AFTER....A Tool Polisher's Haven

Some of them were marked as a paint sprayer. But it doesn't shoot air out constantly, more like puffs. I bought one a few years ago and got it running, but haven't played much with it. To give you an idea, I paid $50, and once in a blue moon one pops up on CL around Philly for about that price.

    BEFORE & AFTER....A Tool Polisher's Haven

Me too I believe so. The B+D in the back is a smaller saw, but weighs more than the craftsman as well lol

    vintage saw restoration

Knocked out another D7 I had this week. Still doing trial and error restoring these. Successes: heat up the blade before bluing. Definitely made Gun Blue darker. I went 120 grit lightly, then used the blue. Then 320 after to clean it all up. Then blue again. Then more sanding. Think the...

    vintage saw restoration

You inspired me to work on a couple of the saws I had laying around from buying larger lots of tools. I did one a couple years ago and I didn’t like the looks of it. Still not thrilled with this one, but considering you couldn’t see the logo at all prior, it’s better than it was. This...
