    Metal ceiling....

We finished just before my vacation ended, and we haven't done any ********* beatin' and bangin' on anything yet. I did turn on my compressor which is in the back corner, and didn't notice any big difference. I haven't noticed any echo during conversations either. We have so much **** in...

    Metal ceiling....

The metal is Master Rib special ordered from Lowes. It is the same stuff that is on the outside of the building. They will cut each piece to the length you want. If you take the time to measure, it will save a lot of time.

    Metal ceiling....

If you look at this picture, you can see one of the reinforcing 2 x 6's that are glued, screwed and through bolted above the tray ceiling. It isn't going anywhere. I was worried, but we maintained the strength of triangulation, and it never budged when we cut the bottom piece off. Thanks for...

    Metal ceiling....

I haven't been on here for a while, but we finally have some updates. Winter is coming, and my pole barn is cold as heck. Here are a few before, during, and after pictures of our steps to remedy the situation. The funny looking tray ceiling is the future home of a lift. The...

My Build: Simply a Mr. Jack Olsen inspired 1930 Auto Bunker House Geobarn Homage

Nice shop !!! I like the view too, since I grew up on a farm. Now I am in the woods, and I like to have the big door open. All I can see is trees in every direction. No neighbors looking back at me. I'll take either view....:bounce:

28x54' 2 Story Build in Central Pennsylvania

Nice work. I remember when I was 15, I helped my Dad and his friend build a shop like this. He said I had the "easy" job. All I had to do was mix the mud in a wheel barrow and carry all of the blocks to them. Then they put them in place. I got strong that summer. :wtf:

Question about my LOUD Sears Air Compressor!

It will become quiet when it kicks the rods out. I have a Craftsman 6 hp 60 gallon laying in the woods behind my shop. I replaced the rod/piston and cylinders several times before I gave up and bought a real compressor. I'm gonna shoot that thing with my AK47 before I haul it away.
