I am in VA, and they came here from PA to build my shop. :beer:

The posts are 3 feet deep sitting on a concrete biscuit. This is in VA, and I think they build according to your climate. 11,500 was in 2007, and the concrete was done by a local guy.

This kind of work will try your patience. I let my wife do all of the cutting and fitting, and I do all of the welding. An empty Miller Lite case makes an excellent template. :beer:

I know how you feel when dealing with the county. We bought 20 acres, and after we paid it off and installed a driveway, they said the perc was no good. THEY DID THE INITIAL PERC TEST !!!!!! We were about 50K into this project, and my wife was with the lady from the county. I was at work...

I have a 30 x 48 built by National Barn Company. I like it. :thumbup: They built it in 3 days. 11,500 for the building plus 6500 for concrete, including a 20x20 pad out front. :beer: I just wish it was twice as big.
