    Electrical Service Question

I think I would dig the trench myself and leave connections to the electrician. And yes, its going to ****! I imagine I will be able to save quite a bit by doing the back breaking work myself...?

    Electrical Service Question

Aerial view of home...up and over seems like a challenge. Around the outside would definitely be underground. Any idea what I should expect to pay to run underground outside in conduit ~150ft of wire?

    Electrical Service Question

Based on this schematic of my home, would you recommend running the 60A panel wiring around the outside of my home? (provided I could find space on my main panel. The home is a 2 story, with panel in the basement. This prohibits me from running in the attic (I believe). I think I need to go...

    Electrical Service Question

You're giving me hope, however, Im just concerned with breaker spaces. I already have one 100A subpanel running the basement, and the 200A panel is full as well. I think the issue is the number of rooms in the house... If I were to be able to find a couple of free spaces on the main panel...

    Electrical Service Question

I will take a picture tonight and post. Unfortunately, I think All is pretty full on the sub panel as well. I know the main panel is large, I would have to confirm whether 30 or 40 spaces. I appreciate all of the help and clarifying questions thus far!

    Electrical Service Question

I have a lift in the garage, lathe, table saw, compressor, etc. Its gets dicey when I am running dust collection along with some of the other tools. I would love to be able to add electric heat and other 220 items in the garage (larger compressor, etc). The main concern I have with the 100A...

    Electrical Service Question

Hello, I do not know a whole lot about electrical systems, so please bear with me on this question. Here is the scenario: I have a 200A service in my house. From that, I have a 100A subpanel that is for my basement entertainment area, etc. This leaves me with 100A for the rest of the house...

So, I purchased the Kobalt Magnum Grips yesterday during lunch...I hadn't done any research on them, it was an impulse buy...Store demo pair seemed pretty decent. Opened them up when I got home, tried to use them to snug up some nuts on oil dolly casters. WOW, these things ****!@ Back to Lowes...

    LM 3800 questions

After looking at mine, I think the surge protector is small enough that you can use two of them on the same outlet. I cannot guarantee because I didn't want to unhook everything, but it looks like it will work.

    Metal drawers at Fastenal

Yes you can move the (plastic) dividers. There are multiple slots that these fit in...about every inch or so if I recall correctly. Very nice drawers for the $

    LM 3800 questions

Ill take a look at mine this evening and see it if looks like they could be used on the same outlet.(one upside down on the top plug). Its all going to depend on how big the surge protectors are (mine are 12 feet up, so I'll have to get the ladder out to check them out.) Stand by...

    LM 3800 questions

Dont forget the LM Surge Protectors. They are cheap insurance for your opener. They extend the warranty by 5 years I think. My installer said most newer lift motors are highly susceptible to electrical surges. (He wasn't trying to sell me the surge protectors, as I already had them.)

    LM 3800 questions

I got mine from Amazon, fulfilled by the following company. I was VERY pleased with their shipping speed and competitive price. They ship from MI, so it was next day for me to Cincinnati. I told my installer what I paid, and he said thats not much more than his wholesale price, and he buys about...

Looking for good quality 3/4 inch garden hose help

I find Amazon.com to be the best source for a lot of stuff like this. You may try Lowes or HD, but they seem to be moving more toward private label everywhere in the store :-/
