    Coving Wall to Floor Joints

If I am understanding you correctly, are you asking how to cove the floor up the walls? Where it looks like the floor goes right up the wall to say about 6"? So the floor is also the wall base? We do this in the flooring industry all of the time. Mainly hospital's or public restroom's etc...

    VCT Project

As long as your slab is smooth you should be fine. I really doubt VCT adhesive is going to activate your sealer. Try a 2x2 test in a corner somewhere. Then take a couple of aspirin and call me in the morning when you try to remove the test:lol:

    Can you dye VCT?

I wouldn't think so. I have never heard of it. I guess it would be like painting the floor. I would think it would wear off. For the time and cost you would be better of to just get the darker tile.

Removing Garage Paint for VCT Application?

If it's very thin and worn, where as it looks as if the concrete is colored. You should be OK. But if it is thicker and looks like it could flake off of the floor, then yes you would need to remove as much as possible.

vct garage tile question/issue *pics inside*

A lot of times what we do in a situation like that is, take some 2"-3" wide masking tape and tape along the edge of the VCT (Mask off the edge) Now lay some tape about 3" away from the edge of the VCT on the floor. You should now have a 3" space between the tape. Now take some 2 part epoxy...

vct garage tile question/issue *pics inside*

I swear, one of these days I need to make a video of the CORRECT way to install VCT. I will give you a quick and easy example of what to do. First off you do not have to start in the middle of the room. Second you only need 1 CHALK LINE Example; lets say you have a 20'x20' garage. Now go...

    VCT to OSB flooring question

Yes you MUST put something over the seams. Or the VCT WILL eventually crack at every seam over time, so you will see every seam in the underlayment transfer right through your VCT. And NO the adhesive cannot be used to float anything. It is strictly used for adhering the tiles. PS I...
