Is this plastic "Belzer" ratchet made in Argentina? It is a flawless replica of a once famous brand, when Belzer made also the ratchets for Snap-On, in the fifties,sixties...........:(

When I ordered my UNIOR Tool catalogue, last year from the Dutch Unior importer, for which I paid p&p myself, as a private person, they send me the same opener as a gift: to compensate p & p, I think! Since then I have opened lots of beers: great tool!

I love the balance-feel of ball-peen hammers over that of DIN1041 German hammers, I have them all from 50 to 2000 grammes, made by Peddinghaus,Belzer,Sandvik,Picard, and only 6 ball-peen, made by Blue Point, Stanley and Peddinghaus, but I like these more.

I think it´s normal, otherwise the point are useless, it´like "bombage" in sheet metal bending machines, where the "knives" in the middle are a little longer than at both sides

I have these pliers for over 20 years, it´s very sturdy and handy tool, f.i. to bend thicker wires in narrow positions, building tube-amplifiers, f.i. for positioning the wires to the valveholders to solder them. I love Belzer!:)

Thank you Superautobacs; I watched the hole video. I like Belzer very much, and I have some tools, mostly NOS, but also bought 2nd hand, and bought new in the sixties of the 20th era. We had a very nice seller in the Hague, in the Netherlands, my country of origin.
