Just put down Armorpoxy II, my thoughts so far.

Looks great! That's a huge area! I'll be posting my experience with the ArmorUltra job on a pallet after I finish cleaning it up in Word. I had some of the same experiences. Anti-slip was a pain because it kept settling to the bottom of the roller pan. Mixing in the pan didn't help. I wish I...

    Epoxy-Coat Project

1st Update: It's been two weeks and the repair kit never came. I checked my credit card and I was never billed, so I'm going to call Epoxy-Coat on Monday to find out what happened. On a side note, I wrote a letter to Epoxy-Coat letting them know about this forum and to check out all the...

Need Air Compressor Over 8 SCFM at 90 PSI

Hi, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for a compressor that meets the specs in the title in addition to being quiet and reliable. It will be used for working on my cars (suspension, engine work, etc...) and some small projects. My space is limited: townhome w/one car garage. The...

Phase II - Garage Shelving, Cabinets, and Workbench

Hi, I just finished Phase 1 of my garage redesign by completing the flooring. Now I'm ready to add some shelving, cabinets, and a workbench. Unfortunately, it's only a one car garage and space is limited. I have a few ideas, but I would like to solicit some opinions based the limited...

Epoxy Coating, how thin can you spread it?

    I totally agree

    Another Epoxy-Coat Project

I know exactly what you mean. When I spoke with the tech at Epoxy-Coat, he told me that would happen if I attempted to wash it. When I finished sanding and grinding, I swept out the garage 2 or 3 times, mopped it, and swept it out again after it dried. I took my finger and wiped it on the...

    Epoxy-Coat - 1 or 2 coats?

If your floor is smooth and even, one coat will be fine. My older floor was hopelessly uneven, so two was the only way to go. However, I planned on two coats due to heavy use, so it worked out.

    Another Epoxy-Coat Project

I totally agree that the scarifier would be a big mistake. From what I can see, your garage does look to be about ready for the application. Did you do the 'drop of water test?' If not, place a drop of water on the prepped floor and see how long it takes to absorb into the surface. If the...

    Epoxy-Coat Project

As a follow-up, I had a very small 6-inch area with, "fish-eyes." Unfortunately, the two coats of epoxy just wouldn't stick. Amazing, after all that grinding, but I suppose it would have been much worse without it. After speaking with a very pleasant Epoxy-Coat representative, I ordered a...

    Epoxy-Coat Project

Hi Steve, Thanks for the kudos. The pigment settled to the bottom of the can (although it looked light gray when I started applying it) and that brought about the result you see on the first coat. It sounds like what you want for protection over your graphics is a great idea. I am not sure...
