SnapOn - What is all the fuzz about?

I love my snap on stuff, try to buy it whenever possible, but I'm not a fanatic and have plenty other brands in my box. IMHO the dual 80s are the best ratchet I've used, snap on hex bit sockets are also unrivaled IMHO, I've put those things through hell and back and never let me down.

They are pretty simple, ask the dealer if you can watch the PHD certification videos. They will help you out. One warning though, Harley service manuals ****, a lot of info in the manuals is out dated, even the most basic things like oil capacity. Make sure you check service bulletins, as they...

Very cool! I'm in school now getting my certifications as a Harley mechanic. Allen sockets are a must, stubby, long, ball. Torx sockets are another must. Ratcheting Wrenchs help a ton, low profile sockets/ratchet for rocker boxes and top end tear down while in frame. Swivels, 1/4 and 3/8. The...

    Snap on 7.2v 3/8 impact?

Hey guys, seeing if anyone here has used the 7.2v snappy impact? From What I've read people seem to say it's underpowered. I work on Harleys and am looking for something to speed up tear down of primary cases and engine top ends, keep in mind, these are aluminum cases so 200ft lbs of torque is...

Brands that have a student discount?

At my school we have a SO rep on campus, we have lists of what we can order from him at our price which on avg is about 50% off list. We can only order things off that list and only one of each item or set, so I can't buy two sets of Wrenchs..... I've found I can get better deals on SO on craigs...
