    Screwdrivers...

So... I'm getting a better (non cheapo) set of screwdrivers. So far I see two options: 1: Get a full, comprehensive set of actual screwdrivers (Bost rebadged as Fatmax) Normal + Torx 2: Get a Kraftform Kompakt with the long bits (that will do the same thing) Kraftform Kompakt 62 Any...

    The Joker's Are Here...

I'm in the UK, and I only see standard bolts etc on very old/classic cars. I think they are still used a bit by industry though.

    The Joker's Are Here...

Looking around on the web yesterday, I came across this: It looks like Wera have decided to expand their Joker line (they also now sell Imperial sets).

What's the attraction to hex bits vs screwdrivers?

They're really great for getting to recessed screws, and when access is an issue (stubby etc). Not to say I don't love my Kraftform Kompakt...

    Compact cordless drivers

Also, Bosch put the battery controller in the tool, so all the tools can use the batteries the best way for them, not just at the same rate (which may not be the best). Everyone else (that I know of) puts the controller in the battery.

    Getting a Corded Drill

Thanks everyone for the input :D I'm probably going to go with the Bosch GSB2 21-2RE (as I don't need the electronic torque control, and for £50...).

    Worst tool ever produced?

The problem with these was the power - mine has a 9V battery in and works a bit better. My vote goes to this: http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/handtools-storage-workwear/handtools/wrenches/Mac-Allister-Adjustable-Ratcheting-Socket-Wrench-12518586

    Getting a Corded Drill

The Magnum looks great, the only problem is it's 120V, and mains here is 240V  I've found a ton of new ones on Ebay though (the shipping from the US isn't as high as I thought - around £30 ($45)).

    Getting a Corded Drill

I'd like the drill to do as much as possible - I'm a student and this is my first drill, so it would be better if it did everything (Plus it's a whole lot cheaper than separate ones).

    Getting a Corded Drill

Hello Everyone! :D I'm getting a drill, and was wondering what everyone recommends... I want it to last a long time so am looking to get a corded one (to start, at least). I've found a couple from Bosch...
