Currently building a 3-car with hardi-plank siding. This stuff beats vinyl siding hands down! Very happy with it. It is very attractive (looks like wood), and is primed so one coat of good paint will do the job. Will post pics later.

No shingles yet, but got the building wrapped and ready for hardy plank exterior. Also, holes drilled, boxes installed for wiring. This baby will have wiring for TV cable, telephone, and surround sound. Should be ready for sheetrock in less than a week. Can't wait.

Trust me, that was done pre-construction: The King of Beasts (Corvette) will get it's own area (single door) and the Lexus SC 400 will sleep next to it. The wife's ES 300 will be closest to the house.

I, too am buliding a new attached garage. Got the same answer from my contractor -- building codes won't allow running a duct from living space to garage. Will probably go with portable units.
