I have everything else for the work. Saw zaw, grinders, torches, pipe/tubing cutter, wire wheels, etc.

    Exhaust work tools

Ok, I understand what you mean. Why do I need a 140? For thin wall pipe? The welder i mentioned in my first post is a MIG welder. So it does have gas. It’s a 80amp max output gas shielded wire feed welder. And for exhaust pipe it’ll run on the lowest power setting. So why buy a 140 and run it on...

    Exhaust work tools

Need some advice on exhaust work tools. I opened my own auto repair shop back in August, and I’m very busy. One of the things I’ve had a lot of requests to do is exhaust work. And by “exhaust work” I mean, custom exhaust. Not performance, just custom. Example from this week: 03 Honda Odyssey...

    Flex in 2 post lift?

Just to add my .02, I recently installed a Bend Pac XPR-10AS-168-LP in my garage, and I use it for my auto repair business. Meaning, I use it a lot. The concrete is about 8-9 inches thick, and the slab it's on is about 40x60. There is a small crack (both sides are still level), about 15 ft away...

    Ratchets

Yup Yup. I knew some folks that were having trouble having children, and they bought a HF 44 and now they've got 3 kids. True story.

    Why Buy Snap-on?

I want to argue also! Can we talk about Ford vs. Chevy? Or Mac vs. PC? Or Republican vs. Democrat? KEEP THIS THREAD GOING!

    Why Buy Snap-on?

Can we argue about polishing techniques and the necessity or lack thereof now?

Double bay or Triple bay box?

Same here. I've got a 1033 and I love it. Lots of room and those big drawers are amazing. I use the 3 inches for my sockets and ratchets. It holds everything, and it seems like the more weight it has in it the smoother is slides. P.S. Only real way of moving the 1033 IMHO is with a tilt-bed...

    SHAME on Snap-On!

I recently had this problem trying to exchange a Cman socket. 1/2 inch drive, 10mm socket. it was rusting pretty badly and Sears told me it wasn't covered. OP try calling snap on? Sometimes they'll just send you a new tool.

So, how often do you use your ¾ drive socket set?

I use my set daily, but I work on large trucks and heavy equipment. Heck, most wheel end work required 3 1/2 inch---4 1/4 inch sockets.

Which cordless "system" to buy into?

Nah it's cool....I found out about that recently, and I just figured I'd share the knowledge....

Which cordless "system" to buy into?

Craftsman Hand tools have a lifetime warranty, but cordless tools don't.... I know this because my c3 1/2 impact has broken twice, once it was covered because it was within a year, and the second time it was a year and a month from the original date of purchase and they wouldn't cover it. I even...

    Why buy Harbor Freight?

You know, it seems to me that on this forum Snap On is becoming the underdog. If anyone asked a question about a Snap On tool, everyone says "Buy Harbor Freight", and if anyone asks a question about a tool box, heaven forbid they don't already know to buy a HF44 incher, they're going to be...
