When you need them there the best thing since sliced bread. You them daily at work. Have a few sets of gearwrench and craftsman. Never saw the need to spend the big money on Snap On ones.

I found they work best if you hammer them onto the bolt and then use an impact. You have to get them to get a good bite before you try to turn them otherwise they just rip the bolt head up.

Can some one who bought the 7CR online post a picture of them as the are two different styles of these one with regular curved jaws and one with more pernounced curved jaws that almost become flat we're they would grip a nut or bolt. See the difference below...

If you click on each of the links I have above they both are 7cr but different jaws on them. I like the ones shown on the Home Depot site but want to make sure what ones ill get from ACE

Here's a PROTO 24" I just picked up for $20

I have a sunex 1/2 set and broke a 17mm (used all day long for lug nuts) and a 21mm.

Found this at the local pawn shop for $20. Best part is I needed to pick one up for doing alighnments. It's a PROTO 24"

I think it was a good deal. The teeth are still sharp and not rounded and it adjusts easy.

Stopped by the pawn shop while my daughter was at dance class and found this. It's a 24" PROTO pipe wrench. Picked it up for $20 don't know if it was a great deal but needed one for doing alignments on JEEPS.
