    "Coyote Flats"

Framed in an entrance room, off the side door, between the office / recroom and shop. This is to keep the dirt and noise between the two down and it will also able a person to enter the shop with out being able to get into the office area.

    "Coyote Flats"

Got another 40 yards of recycled crushed concrete spread out before the wet season gets started. A little too fine for me, but it'll work for a good base when we finish the drive.

Sorry I haven't up-dated for a while... Been doing the wiring and a lot of little things. I'll try and post an update later today when I get back from working on the shop. The building package was 24K. It's a canned package with the addition of the 28 X 21' shed room. I have an idea of how...

Basic lighting question - on/off behavior

Hey Scott, Check out www.pfolighting.com they're in our area. I'm going with their 8 ft. fixture that takes 4 ea. 4 ft T-8 blubs. The HO fixtures are about $75 each and the blubs are about $2.50 each. A little spendy, but they're commercial and the blubs should last about 20,000 hrs. Good...

    Remembering the past

MHOFFM911, Great post, it brings back a lot of old memories. 13) The golf course had only 9 holes. Didn’t have a golf course. 17) You referred to anyone with a house newer then 1955 as the 'rich' people. Took from 1950 to 1959 for my father to complete the house. 19) Anyone you...

    J-Bolt Installation

Hey Burger, Boiler7904 had some good ideas... On mine I bored and set anchor bolts at each end of the sill plate boards and every 4' on centers. Took a good half day to set about 80 of them. Not hard to do when the concrete is still a little green. BTW - The 31 Chev fenders etc. I got from...

New Garage Project begins, Please comment with thoughts and Ideas

I'll be following this one because I think the Web Steel Building, 40 X 56 with a 29 X 21 shed room, I'm putting up is almost the same as your Miracle Truss. I got mine as a package with all the wood, roofing, siding, and windows and doors for about 2-1/2 times the cost of yours. We used a...
