Argh, same here, just paid shipping yesterday. Do you know if tool up will actually cancel the order?

Yea, that one originally caught my eye. But the M12 Rover sale price at $55 is cheaper, up to double the output, and uses M12 batteries I already have. So for me the rover makes more sense, but the 2114 def looks like a nice option as well!

Yea, that's annoying, but still seems to be the best price on the 3/8 stubby bare tool that I've seen, even after taxes and shipping.. The international deal wasn't bad, but I don't need the cooler nor do I want the hassle of selling it.

Speaking of lighting, I think I need to stop wasting my time with cheap work lights and just get some sort of Milwaukee light. I'm looking for something that can light up underneath the car, light up a wheel well, and perhaps even light up a small work area in the dark (corner of a room...

I just saw your post in another thread with the comparison pic of the socket sizes, and I'm sold on the 3/8. (https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=402723) I also saw the master set...genius. Would be nice to have all the impact sockets I need in one case to drag to the race...

I'm considering the 3/8 vs 1/2 version of the M12 Stubby impact to complement my 1/2 mid-torque. My impact sockets are 1/2, so I'm thinking that it might make more sense to just get the 1/2 so I don't have to buy more 3/8 impact sockets... Any downsides to getting the 1/2 version of the stubby...

It's a ridiculous deal. People would pay that just for the two batteries! Makes me wonder if Milwaukee is coming out with a new version of the hackzall? Honestly the existing one is already very heavy duty and slots in nicely below the M18 Fuel Hackzall (or maybe they are moving away from the...

I think that's one of the main selling points of the non-Fuel M12 ratchet - only 35 ft-lbs, so it's pretty tough to break a fastener (unless it's tiny). For breaking fasteners loose, you can just manually use the M12 ratchet to break it free. Additionally, the non-Fuel is also smaller than the...

Not that I'm aware of, but regardless, that is a pretty darn good price, esp w/ the free battery. I already tried calling acme to see if they'd price match...said they won't because it is a "clearance" item. I'm tempted to do the ol' buy and return. Or buy a second, sell the hackzall, and keep...

I received my M12 Hackzall from Acme on Sunday via Fedex. I just received the notification that the 6.0 battery shipped and is arriving on Wednesday. On a related note, I threw a harbor freight pruning blade in the Hackzall and used it to trim some pine tree branches this evening. This thing...

Honestly the M12 FUEL stuff has been great for DIY work. I ended up getting the M18 Fuel drill because the M12 fuel was struggling a bit with a big hole saw through metal, but it got it done. I really just like to have 2 drills for wood working, so it made sense to have the M12 and M18. Just...

It might be arriving in a separate shipment. I placed my order last night and the availability in the cart and order confirmation page said the hackzall was in stock and ships within 1 business day, however the battery "usually ships in 10-15 business days"...

ugh, I knew there was a reason why I quit following this thread....I always end up finding deals too good to pass up and blowing more money on tools! That 6 ah battery will pair perfectly with the M12 stubby that I plan to pick up over the winter for lasting a whole weekend at the race track...

Well the obvious answer here is to buy at least 1 or 2 M12 Fuel drills/drivers because they say "Fuel" on the back and you could see a difference. Otherwise I suppose you could just get a label maker and put labels on the wood and keep them in the same spots (or put the labels on the tools)...

Depends on your application. I had the older M18 Fuel 3/8 impact (rated at 200 ft-lbs) and I used it for years for removing lug nuts. It even tackled most suspension bolts. Granted this was on a car and I always torqued the lug nuts to 90 ft-lbs. The suspension bolts were torqued to ~130 ft-lbs...
