    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

I haven't used any of the stuff personally yet, but when I was reading reviews, the EGO blower gets several better reviews vs the Milwaukee. Both the Milwaukee and EGO string trimmers get great reviews. I held them both in person in Home Depot, and the shaft and head on the Milwaukee seem to...

Thanks, I appreciate the unbiased review. The Milwaukee string trimmer does seem pretty good, but I figure if I'm going with the Ego blower, might as well go with the Ego string trimmer too.

Yea true. However I've been reading some reviews, and it seems like the Ego blower and string trimmer are just plain better all around. Since I already have an Ego mower, don't need the M18 9.0 battery, and the regular price of the Ego blower+trimmer is the same....I might just go that route...

Alright, might have to jump on it this time. Is this about as good of a deal as it gets?

Thanks for posting...almost what I need, but not quite. I'd rather have the blower instead of the hedge trimmer. Oh well, I'm sure another deal will pop up soon.

Jumping into home ownership very soon (closing at the end of April), which could only mean one thing...more tools! What are the odds that Milwaukee releases a cordless mower? The EGO+ ones get great reviews, but it would be nice to just use/expand my existing Milwaukee battery collection. I...

I've enjoyed my rotary tool as it generally works well, uses M12 batteries, and you can still use dremel accessories. However, I think I mine might be toast (I haven't used it that much... Just a few small projects... Sanding wood, trimming some metal with a cutting disc, and little bit of...

Random question about the Milwaukee warranty...does it only follow the first purchaser with original receipt, or does the warranty follow the tool? I would think it would only follow the first purchaser with original receipt, but I saw a post here regarding using only a serial number from the...

Since you already have an impact driver, this kit is nice because it comes with the fuel drill and fuel 3/8 impact. I've had the Fuel 3/8 impact for about 3 years, and it is awesome for automotive work. Small, yet plenty of torque for lug nuts on cars and most suspension components. These are...

The M18 Fuel circular saw has the blade on the right. The non-fuel has the blade on the left, which is what I just got. My only other circular saw that I've owned had the blade on the right (I'm right handed) and I got used to to that orientation. Now it's an adjustment to have the blade on the...

I would actually say if I had to pick only one, I would pick the drill. Impacts are awesome for their brute strength and speed. However, I would pick a drill because: -it has a chuck and you can use hex bits or regular round shank twist bits. -you also have a clutch setting, so you can limit...

I did try it on low on the first wheel and I let impact for a while (it turns pretty slow) and it wasn't anywhere near 80 ft-lbs....maybe I didn't let it hammer long enough? If it takes that long, I'd rather just leave it on the middle setting and just hammer it on quick and stop before it...

I've been using my M18 Fuel 3/8 impact (it's the older version with 200 ft-lbs) on lug nuts for my autox cars and DD's for the last almost 3 years, and I've only had it fail to take off 3 lug nuts. On all 3 of those, the lug nut was seized and I had to snap the wheel stud to remove the nut...

I went from the a pruning saw (longer than that fiskers) to a cheapo sawzall from Menards ($30) with a pruning blade and it was infinitely easier than the hand pruning saw... Esp when you're up 10 feet on a ladder and trimming solid oak branches. I don't have either Milwaukee hackzall, but the...

The magnetic screwdrivers? I've had my eye on those... Curious to hear your thoughts. And the M12 fuel stuff is close to the brushed M18 stuff, depending on the tool. For example, the M18 brushed impact driver has 1,500 in-lbs while the M12 fuel has 1,200. M18 brushed drill, 500, and M12 fuel...

2017 milwaukee power tools deal thread

When you buy these deals in store, it breaks down the pricing on the receipt. There is a formula somewhere in this thread, but I believe the return value of the bare tool is something like 60% of the original value. The same is true if you want to keep the bare tool but return the kit.

Nice! Are those the older Milwaukee parts organizers on top? Do they lock into the new packout stuff? I'm talking about these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-10-Compartment-Red-Deep-Pro-Small-Parts-Organizer-225046/205847797 I've been curious if those are compatible with the new...

    Recommended 7 1/4 circular saw for non-tradesman?

When I was researching affordable circular saws, SKIL circular saws rose to the top of my list. I ended up buying this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004I1KCEQ/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I'm a very casual home diy'er/wood worker, and this saw has worked great for me. I mainly use it for...
