Larval cabinets: Second coat of Basement & Masonry Waterproofer. The hardware store had suggested that drywall primer would have been fine.....

Sold my drywall-lifter-up-inator and the extra lifter-upper-higher-extenderizer for $150. I paid not a whole lot more for the both of them way back. Makes for a cheap rental.

Hmmm. Thought I had more primer, only had a half gallon. Picked up another 20L pail just before closing, so I'm good to carry on tomorrow.

It seems I've been building that car for seven years now. Not all 100% though, mostly off and on. I was building it in the school auto shop so my students could see the project unfold (or unravel). Eventually I had a really crappy group come through and I brought it home. The build is...

The V8 Firefly moved in last night (it's not a runner yet). My lovely wife gets priority parking over winter, and I'm hoping to park my truck back in the garage since before the boys (age 9 and 11) can remember anything.

The car is actually finished. I ~did~ put new tires on it (previous ones were 10 years old). With all the dust on it, I tell people it's a "barn find." Found it in ~my~ barn. Changing all the fluids is when I discovered that gasoline dissolves the seal coat on the slab, which is why I had it...

Ceiling is primered in the vehicle area. 25' x 33'. Took 4.5 hours. Hopefully one side of the vaulted ceiling will be painted tomorrow.

Your rocks look like my entire back yard. I picked up my siding from Home Depot, and followed the manufacturers instructions off their website plus some youtube videos. I liked this guy's vid especially (Canadian, too): I did mine in all white, but I wish I had done the corners and the J...

Pops and I did the pour today. It all went well. There was a dead mouse in the forms, which I decided to name "Jimmy Hoffa," and we poured concrete over top of him. Makes for a good story. I had 63 bags and used 34. I must have calculated on a 3' Apron, but I ended up pouring a 2.5' apron...

I really enjoyed siding mine in vinyl. It went quick, was reasonably painless, and pretty inexpensive too. Drywall, however, well..... I'm getting a lot better at it.... Looking forward to seeing yours finished!

Drywall nearing completion. I put off showing this, because there isn't really much to see... Apron forms ready for concrete. I want a two-day stint with no rain, and preferably not freezing.
