Getting back into the drywall mudding today.
Spent two weeks in Bolivia, in the middle of frantically trying to finish our main floor bathroom. And getting ready for the new school year.
It went from really dead lino, crappy/cheap plastic-sheet-sectional shower, original 70's chocolate brown vanity, and 70's tongue-and-groove cedar paneling, to this:
That's repaired 5/8" flooring under the toilet and old shower, new 3/8" subfloor, vinyl plank, all new drywall and vapour barrier, new drywall on ceiling, new shower including moved drains and water, new pedestal sink, including moved drains and water, and a whole bunch of colourful metaphors. I don't really enjoy home renovations. Or working with wood at all, if I'm honest.
It was on my list to do, but I didn't want to do it this year. Nevertheless, it's done.
Then throw in there more vehicular issues.... At least the hoist is paying itself off.
Now, back to mudding....
