    concrete polishing

I can't give you specific figures, you could contact Kerry directly for a number. I can say however that when you consider the repair/refurbishment of an epoxy floor coating in comparison over the life of the two finishes the polish is by far and away the better bargain. I suppose the best way...

    Sealing/waxing concrete floor???

That is a polished finish. A grinder is utilized which has diamond cutters and the floors are then polished. The Lowes type floor is supposed to be near 400 grit, they can polish to 1500. A densifier is added to the concrete. It sounds as though cost is near that of having epoxy coating appplied.

    Epoxy Flooring Removal

Thank you for the comments/suggestions. I am told that the epoxy should be good to approx. 19psi. Oh, and yes there is a vapor barrier, thus my confusion. It is not as though I am living on top of a swamp, we are on pretty hard clay. Thanks again.

    Epoxy Flooring Removal

Yes, I would like to retain as smooth of a finish as possible. What does the shot blaster leave behind? It seems as though the installer now believes the culprit is hydrostatic pressure as there are the bubbles with moisture underneath. Of course they firmly believed this was not an issue to...

    Epoxy Flooring Removal

Do you have suggestions as to the "equipment" to utilize...I really do not relish the thought of a body grinder...! I can't imagine a large orbital sander doing much?? I have heard tell of the shot blasting machines, but imagine that the epoxy surface would be fairly impervious to such. A...

Going to order Monday, RaceDeck, Daytona or Kiwi?

I have 200 sq ft of the Kiwi tile in Black and Grey. We used it 1x for a display at the PRI show a few years back and it has been boxed since. I have a friend has the same thing in his shop. The grey gives you the checkerboard effect without the hassle of white. If you are interested in the 200...

    Another Epoxy-Coat Project

Make sure you check for hydraulic moisture issues before painting. If there is not a vapor barrier under the concrete the paint will lift regardless of how well you prep it.
