    Powerline networking

I've used these before and they work great on outlets fed from a single panel. Is there any reason why they wouldn't traverse panels ok? I want to plug one in somewhere in the house and the other in the garage (which has it's own panel that's fed from the house). Please don't tell me to just...

    Pole building gutters

How is this done? Do I need 2x6's between the trusses for the hangers to go into? What about snow sliding down the roof in large amounts?

Car mat for catching melted snow and AC draining

I want something that prevents water running all over the floor from melted snow and water draining from AC in my wife's garage. Looking for a mat that will contain water or mud or whatever that I can broom out when I want. It has an epoxy on the floor, which makes it run like crazy. There...

Yea, weird, Thursday morning garage sale, hit it on the way into work. The 1" wrench is SK, the screwdrivers are Matco, and everything else is SO (1/2" flex head, LOTS of long and wobble extensions, etc). Anyone know anything about the set of dies or how old they are? They are copper and in...

help identifying small snap on box and matco tool

Does someone know what this little Snap On box is? What it was called and when it was made? And the attached Matco tool, PPS4, says it's a brass punch set? What would this be used for?

    Snap On warranty

Bought a new set of SO 3/8" drive sockets from someone on CL. Cracked one this weekend. I was like, no big deal, I'll just call SO and either send it to them for a replacement or get the number for the local SO guy. Nope. Warranty is only good for original purchaser. That's some serious BS...

    air ratchet use?

I just don't get how they can be useful. I've used mine once just to try it out and it has sat in my box ever since. Can you guys tell me what they're useful to for you? Am I the only one who doesn't find them useful at all?

    Matco ratchet problem

I have a Matco 1/4" flex head ratchet. I really like the ratchet but of late the ball that holds the sockets on is not sprung any more. The ball goes in and out but only due to gravity. Will Matco replace it? How does that work if I'm Joe homeowner and not a mechanic?

    will this compressor be ok?

Got a line on an Emglo (this one was made by Jenny) that's clean and recently serviced. It's a 60 gallon, single stage, single phase, 28.7CFM @ 125psi, 5HP, 4 cyl, 780 rpm. I will mostly be running common air tools; impact, die grinder, etc. Will the single stage be ok or should I pass on...

    2 post lift thoughts please!

Previously posted in the wrong section I guess as I only got one reply, I would think I could get quite a few knowledgeable people's thoughts! Anyway, I want to get a decent lift without breaking the bank. Can't stomach a new BendPak, Rotary, or Challenger now. Was looking at Direct Lifts...

what 2 post lift to get?

First time poster here! So I wanna get a decent lift without breaking the bank. Can't stomach a new BendPak or Rotary now. Was looking at Direct Lifts (made by Dover, same manufacturer as Rotary I believe) and Eagle Lifts. Definitely clearfloor/overhead lines and asymmetric. Should I be...
