    Riding mower wiring help needed

Oh man, another forum I’m on there was a posting of a woman that was mowing on a hill and her husband had built a junkyard push mower with no safeties. Mower flipped and chased her down the hill taking chunks of flesh out of her **** and part of her foot if not all of it.

Getting Kids Interested in the Garage/Tinkering/Fixing/Wrenching

I raised four kids, two boys, two girls. Really an odd situation with the way things turned out. I inher my mothers artistic skills and my dads mechanical know how. About the time my oldest son was 9 (it was actually on his birthday the tow truck delivered it) I had bought my ‘66 Mustang GT...

    Riding mower wiring help needed

Very true. My old job was based in the sub level of a Law School. I use to go upstairs to the canteen all the time for lunch. On a cork board in the hallway was a poster that said: You can thank a lawyer for…. Seat belts padded dash boards safety glass and tempered glass collapsable steering...

    Dust Deputy - it works!

I bought a metal 5 gallon bucket with the metal lid and snap ring for my collector. Lid was so thin I had to sandwich it between two pieces on 1/8” Masonite I had laying around. mounted the can on a plywood base using Jeep hood hold downs. Base has an arm going up that I drilled a 2” hole...

    Riding mower wiring help needed

Yea, at least the seat safety! I hated the back up safety on my old Cub Cadet. Turn key back one notch, press back up button to back up with blades engaged. It stayed on all the time. Funny how a ZTR doesn’t need this stuff.

    sell snap on tools

Sorry for your loss. But above advise is bad to a point. Sure, there are folks out there looking for a steal of a deal and hoping every day the run across someone that has no idea of value. But if someone comes along and makes you an honest offer and you triple the price it won’t take long for...

Restore Cedar Pergola - BLO vs. Stain

My experience with BLO is black staining when it gets wet. Did a work bench with BLO. Set a cold coke can on it, black ring. Had a plumbing leak over the bench, didn’t get it all dried up and had a puddle under some items and it also turned black. Had to strip it all down and re-coated it...

    Car body work solution

Keep in mind your going to need some sort of water catchment and drain system. But you’re saying ‘67 but showing pics of a ‘68? ‘67 had two nice looking vents already there. Maybe just go all out with Shelby vents? I did it with my ’66 GT Fastback. But I retained all the GT badging and GT...

Rustoleum spray cans - absolute garbage

Wasn’t shaken enough. Keep shaking and then shake some more. Then take an old rag and a trim nail. Cover top of can with the rag and press nail down into the valve where the spray nozzle goes. It will clear out any chunks of paint that got sucked up earlier. Wrap the can good and wear gloves...

Strategies for those of us with ADHD

Lists work, but setting a goal on a project and trying my best to stay focused on and them purposely walking away for a while helps me the most. Like working until I get to put paint on something and then walk away while the paint dries. Or tasks out in the yard. Work an area until I get...

I’ve got a new 26” HF box. As we all know it only comes with one side handle. I think the bigger boxes handles are the same. But I need another if anyone never used theirs. This is the 22” deep box.
