I'm going to look at it today. It is about 10 years old, bought a Grainger, and has been used very sparingly.
I'll probably buy it unless I notice a major flaw. What are some general things to look for?
Anybody have any experience with the Dayton compressor model # 4B230?

I have not really had to return too many tools and I haven't dealt with the tool truck guys before.
Is this or this enough to get a new one in exchange from a snap on guy?
If so, why do you think the seller doesn't exchange them and sell new ones? Doesn't know? Lazy? Drunk? Stupid?
I dropped by sears on Friday after work and they didn't have the ratchets, pliers, or this box from the 80th anniversary stuff. I did get the $2 metal car with mini pliers and screwdrivers inside it and I bought one of the 3 drawer toolboxes for $15.
Maybe it is different for me but I have not...
Thanks for all the replies everybody. Now I have a few choices.
itb76, I was looking at 845 before you posted but I'm a little confused - did you mean that polishes do not fix scratches or that 845 will not fix scratches?
845 sounds like a good topcoat but if it will not fix these...
I know there are car guys here (as opposed to truck/suv types like myself of late). I haven't been doing too much polishing or waxing lately with the trucks and SUVs I have owned lately.
Now, I have some trail damage/scratches in a specific area that I want to take care of. I am looking for...

Do people here use a tap and die set to "clean" or clear the threads on automotive parts. I was swapping some springs and shocks and will be doing some more work in the same area in the near future on my rover. Sometimes dirt/mud from the trail or just everyday road dirt/grease make it seem it...
I am familiar with the automotive product. It is an excellent product but requires meticulous prep and it is does not like UV rays - so it needs a topcoat if it will be exposed to sunlight.
FWIW
I'm not familiar with the floor paint.
I bought this from a local craigs list ad for $10. It is new, still in the original box with paperwork. I haven't done any research yet to see how old it is - for all I know it is a pos but for $10, it seemed like it was worth taking a chance (and I need a vise for the workbench I haven't made...
I need a new jack - the last one I had was a craftsman professional bought around 2002 but was stolen out of my car trailer in Atlanta. I actually kinda liked it. It had the feature where a single pump brings the saddle up to the chassis which was nice. The saddle seemed pretty large and...
