    Ask Rapidair!

Just an FYI, after doing a lot more investigation it looks like the rapid air flex kits are using basic PEX-AL-PEX tube, with compression fittings. There are various manufactures of tube and fittings, including tub in multiple color options. If you are looking for white tube, check out Viega...

    Ask Rapidair!

This. I just finished digging the foundation on my garage and am now in the process of investigating air lines. Purchase is probably going to be April or May. The only hesitation I have for your kit is the blue. Please offer white lines for the 99% of us that have white garage walls.

how is everyone storing their cordless tool collection??

A bit of a mess in the pic as I was in the middle of painting the walls and doing the Floor epoxy, but you get the basic idea for a quick-grab station:

Did I mess up with CFL photo lights?

You're fine. I have 6 of them in my 3-car garage and have only had one die in the last 2+ years. Simple, tons of light, and no need for extra light fixtures.

    School me on Ethernet splitting

Get a gigabit switch with as many ports as you need and you are done. Just make sure it's a switch. I've got a 16 port Cisco switch for the 15 hard lines running to each bedroom/level of the house and it works great. Some line runs are over 200' and I have no issue.

Home Depot just took $150 off of my $399 drill/impact combo

Funny, I just bought the same thing online on Monday along with the 1/2" high torque impact w/2 batteries. Got $150 off on the combo kit but not on the big impact. Used it tonight for the first time and loved it.

    Lighting a 30'x40' garage

Another alternative: I went with 5 85watt CFL 6,500K bulbs in my 3 car garage with standard ceramic screw-in fixtures. I think I'm all in for under $200 and it produces a TON of light. 8 of these in your space and you should be more than good...

Well.. Now I've done it.. Broken Easy Out..

Let me guess, you are working on a Ford 5.4. At this point you are probably screwed. There is a special tool set to get broken plugs out of the heads of the 5.4. You almost always have to have the set on hand when pulling the plugs because you will almost always break off a few.

Please School Me on Standby Generators

Shocked no one has brought up the negative about Generac. Do a google search on reviews and Kohler vs Generac. Generac is the harbor freight of Stanton by units. The run cheaper electronics and use a modified gas motor that spins at 3,600 rmp. Kohler are much better units with motors that spin...

    Fear The Yoder!

For the guys who have used power hammers before. How hard is it to get right? Is it one of those things that after a dozen or so attempts you can get it very close each time or does it take years to master and get it smooth. It's so hard to tell when an old master is doing a demo... They always...
