    Ultimate Barn Find

Nice project. Similar to mine, I found a one family owned car in New England that was sub 100K miles, all original, ever seen winter. It's my new project too.

Hypertherm, but a close second for me is HTP.

    Compressor recommendation

I have this one and love it. https://eatoncompressor.com/product/7-5hp-quiet-air-compressor-single-phase-80-gallon-vertical/ Note that moving it wasn't easy, they hit me with $535 freight shipping and $200+ sales tax even though it was web order out of state.

    Lets see your workbench

Love it, worth the $ in my opinion. The wheels I bought with it make it a little too high so I had to remove those. Off topic: Your avatar looks like my cobra.

    Lets see your workbench

The ones in the above pictures are all Newage. On the other side is a Bendpak 2 post lift and a DragonFire bench. Not yet. It's been on my to-do list for a few months now. Depending on my free time I may do a build thread and put together a video of all the short build clips I took during...

    Lets see your workbench

I mostly finished my fabrication bench and my butcher block bench this past weekend. The Fabrication bench is a wedtables.com 3x4' 3/16" pro bench with legs. I cut it down about 3" so it matches the height of all my other work surfaces. I added a swag tool holder, a receiver for my 8" vice or...

    Welding helmet suggestions

I've had various auto-darkening helmets over the last 20yrs or so. Most are between poor and average+. My newest one is amazing. It's pricey, but worth it IMO: Optrel Crystal 2.0

Cat6 and RG6 to Detached Pole Barn - Need help

No programming or setup required. It's simple, just plug it in and it works. It's about as complicated as plugging in an electrical plug. Buy the stuff, plug it in, you have internet. If you use Cat6, know that you are typically limited to about 300 ft in total before you run into trouble with...

How to get compresor off double pallet

My 80g 7.5hp was 800+ lbs on a single pallet. I used my 2 post lift to get it up, then put 2 moving dolly's under it. Rolled it into the closet, then used a floor jack between the dolly's to get it up enough and roll the dolly's out. Lowered it down onto hockey pucks and was good to go.

DragonFire Tools workbench - Thumbs up!

Just a quick note and review of DragonFiretools.com and Lou and his products. Outstanding A+ experience with him. Fast responses, very solid and impressive product, and answered all my questions quickly. Packaging during shipping was the best I've seen yet. Metal pallet, double packaged with...

    Femi 782xl Band Saw

Just picked up this exact same setup. Very pleased with it. It was dead on out of the box. I'm planning on making an adapter for the base and a receiver into my fabrication work bench so the material is level with the cutting platform. I should be able to slide it in/out as needed.
