    Harbor Freight Nitrile Gloves

I keep a few pairs in my hard hat and I'll put a pair back in my hat if they are in good shape. But they're not HF gloves, they are whatever gloves I can get from safety or scam from operations.

SK is unveiling new ratcheting wrenches

I also got to fondle the new wrenches and put my name down for a 10mm next year. I'm not planning on buying the set that's for sure. What it looks like to me is that they went all in to build the strongest ratchet wrench they could. I just hope that they bring some reversible wrenches to the...

    Small tape measures?

I carry a 3/4 inch wide tape that is 12 ft long, it fits in my pocket or clips on. It's a tradeoff but I can carry it all the time.

    Mid Length Sockets?

Is there any company with a set of 1/2" drive mid length sockets? I know that there is no real reason that mid length is better than others, but I just like to use them for nearly everything.

    Long 1/2 in drive ratchet

http://store.harryepstein.com/cp/Ratchets/12-994.html I know I know, it's not 24" , but 18 1/2" is still a pretty big wrench, plus it's American made, and there I'd no plastic handle to come off when you really need it the most. I have an import 3/8 five that's 18" flex head , and I don't use it...

Armstrong Ratcheting Wrenches? Or alternative MFG?

I encounter too many situations where I have to use an open end, and don't like the idea of lugging around a second set of wrenches to cover those situations. So for me it's traditional combo configuration, with a ratcheting box on the sizes I can afford to have. Reversing lever and offset are...

    tool trouble at work

Don't think twice about it, get a box that is big enough for you to grow into, and lock your tools up when you are out of the shop. I was in a slightly similar situation at the last place I worked at, there was only three of us in the shop and it was the boss that would abuse and lose tools...

    Semi-Deep SnapOn Sockets?

I consider my semi deep sockets my goto sockets for most uses. I guess its not entirely a mathematical preference, I just like them, but sometimes that should be enough. It may be just me but I really like to have a set of passthrough sockets like the gear ratchet set to cover both shallow and deep.

J H Williams Mammoth Complete tool set.. worth it?

Those sets are going to be bought by companies in order to tool up a new hire they poached from another company. The only scenario I can think of an individual buying a set like that would be if they were changing jobs, tools like that are required at the new job and had been supplied at the old...

    Best pocket magnet?

Thank you guys for the responses. I'm gonna have to try out the pocket screwdriver, no tool trucks though. Does the Hazet tool have a hardened point that will work as scribe, our just a sharp point?

    Best pocket magnet?

Anybody have a favorite pocket magnet? I have been carrying an Empire scribe with a magnet on the other end but am beginning to think that an extendable magnet may be better. what do you guys use? Also what is the strongest pocket magnet out there? Thanks
