Guy down the street was having a yard sale and he was an ex Mac tool dealer.
He had lots of brand new Mac tools in the boxes. I picked this up for $100.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
I bought a RD400 brand new in 1978 paid $1400! Just tried to but a Daytona Special at an auction but bidding went out of my reach.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
No, I don't. Thanks! I'm looking for a RD400 or TX500 for another project.

Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Worked on the HD Aermacchi Sprint SS 350
This is what I started with. I'm conveerting it to a Cafe Racer
Today I got the fairing mounts finished and installed the fairing.
Started modifying the Yamaha Seca 650 tank by shortening it 2.5" and...
Another what's it worth question. I saw a Morgan model 88 swivel bar vise at a second hand store and was wondering what it was worth. Its in good condition. They were asking $150.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Worked on the 34 Coupe. Was going to move the 72 Chevelle. Started it up and noticed a fuel line leak. This has happened before so I tore it out from the fuel pump to the carb and ordered parts to replace the line and filter.
The only time I broke a Crafstman tool was a regular socket on an impact wrench. But most of C-man tools are 20+ years old and holding up just fine.
Harbor Freight tools well that's another story.
Broke lots of drill bits and those damn easy out that aren't so easy and things don't come out...
I worked at a Pallet/Lumber yard for 15 years. There were several "shooting" incidents. No brain shots though! I shot myself through my left hand middle finger when a nail deflectected of a knot and into my finger. One guy shot himself in the knee on 2 separate occasions. At least I learned...
More stuff I've acquired this last year.
A couple Model A cowls and sedan rear.
A Model A Sport Coupe and Pick Up cab.
1949 Ford F6 cab
1974 AMF Harley Davidson Aermacchi Sprint SS 350
It has no name, numbers or any other ID marks so I wouldn't know where to get parts to rebuild it. I'll probably sell it at the next swap meet for cheap.
Besides it was a good reason to buy a new tool.
My old 1/2" impact wrench finally gave up the ghost. I've had it for over 25 years and got it free so it's served it's purpose. I bought an Ingersol Rand Model 2130 from the Factory Outlet online with free shipping. Hope it lasts 25+ years.
