Look I found a bosch armature on "amazon"...

What have I learned from this thread? The url for amazon website is fridayparts.com Bosch oem parts are labeled aftermarket and watch out they don't work without some fitting.

You can request warranty through the craftsman website.

At least this type of tool is repairable. Most items nowadays are just waiting to occupy landfill space.

Agreed. Most people would not be able to identify the problem and perform the modifications to make the part work for your tool. You definitely went above and beyond.

Don't blame bosch for amazon problems. Their is a decent chance that armature you purchased on Amazon is counterfeit.

I am looking for recommend on a pair of turn plates for doing alignment on a 1 ton gm truck. I have a cheap pair of turn plates that I have used on cars with decent success. But when I tried it on this truck it is too much weight the whole plate turns.
