I love Lowe's....went in after Christmas to get a drill press, band saw, benchtop belt/disc sander and a mitre saw. They didn't have all of them at the first one I went to, so down the road I go to the next one (there are 6 in my area, all within a 30 mile radius, and I live in NW Arkansas)...

If you are taking your walls down to bare studs, consider putting in blocking between the studs for added strength for hanging your wall cabinets or whater ever else you might want to hang on the wall. Definitaly insulate if you don't find any when you take the old stuff off.
