Holy **** really? I may try that before drilling it. Was gonna just drill and tap a hole then use a puller or some such. Will try this 1st but I just can't tell if that is a flange on the vise body or the bottom of the actual pin?

So I'm cleaning up this Morgan, and of course the swivel jaw pin is stuck like a pig. I've searched and tried all of the usual tips and tricks, before I drill into this thing can anyone say with certainty if this frighin' ******** lookin' thing is the actual pin or is it part of the casting of...

Ya, that's what I was thinkin'. There is a shoulder, can be felt but can't really see it in a pic, where it kinda butts out right where the inside turns hollow, so the worst of it is definitely on the top section of the slide even tho it shoots down the side.

What is big money tho? I mean, I had to pass on a perfect 3C cause it went past $400 at auction, so that would be big $ to me. Other folks maybe not so much. Could this be a $1000-$1500 vise? I'll try and get a pic.

Quick question for y'all... If one had an opportunity to purchase an Emmerts, what would a ballpark be for an undamaged, complete version? Sorry, it's the crazy rotating vise, is it the pattern makers vise?
