What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Took my Lowe’s (Kobalt) 26 gal 110v compressor head apart to install a new Reed valve plate. Recently replaced to motor that had frozen up with a reasonably priced used one locally. When it went back together it ran (yea!) but it would not make cut out pressure. Ordered a new reed valve...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Wow! Good work on lettering and I would not have thought of using that color, but it think it looks GREAT. I may be stealing that color for my next project. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    nine4's projects, restorations and blunders

I've got a drill Dr as well, and I love it. Cheap drill bits from auction/garage sale back in action in a few minutes work. Once you get the angle set and get in a rhythm, you can get through a pile of bits in short order. That said Nines: you got a lotta bits!

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I think I remember someone using a "dead" dishwasher as a paint booth in a garage on the "reclaimed" pages. I checked Craigslist, and sure enough, a piece of rail was available for about $20. So after a reasonable road trip, I brought this...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Was going to replace the front brakes on my daughters Altima. She said the brakes were sounding "squeaky and grindy". I figured we were looking at new brakes and likely rotors. Once I got the front tires off I found that the guy who did the brakes last did not tighten the lower caliper bolt, and...

Should I get this old drill press for free? *pics*

I can't believe no one has said this yet, perhaps because you have not actually taken possession, (I'm new and not sure if the rules for this), but I think I can safely say, you ****, sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jake's Projects ...... or, .... How I waste my time

Jake: Thank you for explaining to me what I found! I found one of these at a GS about a year ago and paid about $1 for it. Had never seen anything like it, but my main set of tools for the shop is collected generations of craftsman that I have been collecting piece by piece since I was 16 by...
