    The VISES of Garage Journal

I'd love to drop by and take a look at the collection, as it keeps growing on Kijiji by the day. There is another ad for a Reed 103-1/2 for $70 CAD. ($20 USD :D) that has stayed in my watch list for a while, and somehow haven't contacted the seller. I still have a couple of unfinished projects...

    10" atlas lathe find

What a beautiful machine! I'm sure the gentleman seller was happy to see it going to a good home, and that it will be taken care of as well as he has for so many years.

Anyone restore a Craftsman 6x48 belt sander yet?

I do some work for this company occasionally, and they service, rebuild, and resurface and rubber rollers for the graphic industry.... I'm not sure what they would charge to resurface the drums, but it may be worth a shot. http://www.graphicroller.com/

Thanks for the kind welcome and the words of advice, which I haven't yet taken to heart. I was lucky enough this morning to find what I was looking for, and to not burn any bridges, I must offer........ ...... my deepest apologies gentlemen, but I beat you to the punch. I figured it would...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

I have been working on my garage recently, and headed to Kijiji to look for the necessary vise to add to the new bench. I came across a 'No.2 Made in England' which I assumed was a Record, for $20. I sandblasted the body, and soaked the small parts in a Vinegar bath for a day while waiting...
