I'd second the Woden guess, but it's really only based on my own research without any hard evidence as well. I owned a #2 with the same empty oval on it's side, but there wasn't a legible decal left on the front of the dynamic jaw to prove anything. :headscrat

I just paid $30 for one locally in Ontario, but they seem to be all over the place in price, usually around here they seem to be in the $60-$90 range in the classifieds. If you wait, you'll get a deal. keep your eye on Kijiji and Craigslist. That looks great!

Yup, that's the same one. Apparently the original buyer was a no show and it was back up for sale. I've been wanting a QR vise for a long time, and didn't mind the 1.5 hour drive out there on such a nice day. If you're craving a small vise, the same seller has a nice selection of paperweight...
