    Too many sockets, part II.

Sometimes a bolt will piss you off enough to get the bigger ratchet.....in which u usually bust it off out of spite and create more work for yourself ..... some fasteners are a real b***h ><

Looking for tools on eBay is a nightmare.

Using the search bar is much easier. Long metric hex socket set or 1/2 impact socket set for example.

    Comparing wrench prices.

Judging by your avatar and quote you have a soft spot for Armstrong. Therefore it would make sense to spend a extra buck or 2 on the Armstrong wrenches, they will hold up like any of the other brands u mentioned and you probably won't regret it.

    Comparing wrench prices.

i use a 15 piece fully polished ASD proto wrench set and i love them. Id say the most important thing is your application. Proto ASD wrenches are slightly longer and thicker for more torque(industrial use), while something like snap on is thinner and shorter for "tight automotive" spaces.

    Question For Canadians

I live 3 hours from the NWT border where it is hard to get high quality tools. Easiest to get local tools would be from Grainger Proto. Cheaper easier lines include westward, jet, pro core, mastercraft. I Rarly see a Mac and Snap On truck...but they do rarely drop into our local automotive...

    88 teeth vs 36 teeth.

Has this discussion ever been proven?? I am just curious TBH. I seen a few days ago "ratchet tests" have been preformed, does anyone have any info on this ? Or does anyone know if the higher drive rachets (like 3/4' 1')use more so or less teeth.

Decent Made in USA Tool line?

My industrial company gets a good discount through grainger for proto(usa)+westward(china ><) mainly. Proto seems really nice and they are us made. Most of their stuff is the same as mac(or so they look like...you guys would know more than me) just a lil cheaper price :)

    88 teeth vs 36 teeth.

hypothetically wouldn't less teeth have more "meat" thus being more reinforced + stronger?

Plastic sealer? Cracked bottom of plastic garage sink

Our's broke out at work. A employee was welding and threw the hot steel in the sink too cool off and broke out the bottom. He just siliconed it back up with high temp silicone and it hasn't leaked since, which is about 1.5 years later.
