    Single Car, multipurpose Shop (11x25')

drivesirfar: Figured out the pics, have to re-do everything in photobucket rather than imgur. Did the 16 pics in my trailer thread and it took me a chunk of time, I'll see how much of this thread I can fix. My little peanut has been amazing, happy all the time and no problems sleeping through...

    My 4x8 utility trailer build.

Fixed the photos, changed the host to photobucket... found it to be a bigger pain to link photos than imgur as each photo has to be resized and the url link for each photo has to be removed when pasting the address but at least it works.

    Single Car, multipurpose Shop (11x25')

Thanks, it was a good learning experience, I definitely improved my welding skills as the project progressed. The tubular top rail has been great so far for tieing down with rope or ratchet straps, I've actually got quite a bit of use out of the trailer already. It also houses a 5/8" OD x 54"...

I've been working on a utility trailer lately, just doing the finishing touches now. I started its own thread here: My 4x8 Utility trailer build but thought i'd make a post in my journal as well. Started like this (my buddy's cousin in the photo): Without the deck: with deck:

    My 4x8 utility trailer build.

I had been looking for a basic frame and axle to build a utility trailer from for quite some time, finally a friend of mine ended up with a scrap pop-up tent trailer and we decided to strip it and make a basic, light utility trailer. As typically happens with my projects I get carried away and...

Starting over w/ tool collection; Thinking Bosch 12v & Makita 18v is the way to go

Re: Starting over w/ tool collection; Thinking Bosch 12v & Makita 18v is the way to g I'd stick with the makita 18V like you were thinking but go with the milwaukee 12V stuff over the bosch. I have the makita 12V and while it is lighter I wish i had gone with the milwaukee 12V.

    12 volt makita or Milwaukee

I have the makita but wish I had gone with the Milwaukee. The fuel is brushless and they have way more tools available.

Expanding a Double and adding a Boat-Port in Calgary

Start in a corner for the drywall. you generally put up the ceiling first then the walls. The wall boards help hold up the edge of the ceiling board for a tighter corner.

Thinning latex with windsheld washer fluid?

I've heard the windshield washer suggestion before too but never used it. I just thin my water based paints (usually a 100% acrylic) with water and if I'm worried about it drying to fast and not self leveling enough I use a bit of extender, also called floetrol. I spray with a Fuji 2 stage...

Expanding a Double and adding a Boat-Port in Calgary

I'd suggest the Makita LXT stuff. I've used most of the other ones and the makitas just feel right to me. The milwaukee is nice too but I find it doesn't balance right in my hand.

Buffalo 15 Floor Model DP - New to me. looking to restore it.

I have that same drill press in my shop and it's been great! I hope that small dent in the Pully doesn't cause belt vibration for you because they're a PITA to find replacements for. Will you be using it for metal work or woodworking? If woodworking then I'd suggest building your own table and...

Sherwin Williams Canada clearance on Norton sandpaper

Picked up a total of 120 sheets of Norton 3X sandpaper for about $20 today at my local sherwin Williams. They are clearing out all the Norton sandpaper and carrying the new 3M grip sandpaper. It either comes in 20 packs or 3 packs.
