    SK Truck

Apologies for resurrecting an almost 7 year old thread, but today I saw an SK tool truck. I am not sure it is an active dealer, or just an old truck. The current SK website doesn't list any mobile dealer in my area. The truck also had Facom markings, so I suspect it was an old truck from the SK/...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

A local source would be good, but I think i wouldtake some measurements and just order exactly what I need, rather than drive from place to place and waste time and gas looking.

US Manufacturers: Fix your web sites!

You could've fooled me... :dunno: The same causes as are bankrupting the USA, a destroyed industrial base, off-shoring jobs, weakened unions, weakened middle class, the HUGE and ever increasing income gap, corporate greed. Detroit is just a larger city that was affected more than most. To...

US Manufacturers: Fix your web sites!

Yes, I do. I go sailing with them on their yachts and we fly out to Vegas for lavish business trips. Do you really believe all the propaganda? I am a union officer and unpaid as such. Our entire local executive committee is unpaid. Our regional rep makes about 60K, which is not...

US Manufacturers: Fix your web sites!

Another blame the unions robot. Do they make you listen to audio tapes to learn all these coreographed lines? :dunno: IT DOES matter to me and to millions of other union members.

    snap on or cornwell

I don't own much SO, just a few sockets, some extensions and 1 wrench, so no warranty experience with SO yet. I do have one warranty experience with Cornwell. I mailed in a 3/8" ratchet with a missing detent ball. They sent it back with all new internals within a couple of weeks.

Fill up a tool box for $50. Go.

Re: Fill up a too box for $50. Go. My vote would go to this Crafstman set. Can't beat that. Never occurred to me there would be something that price range from Sears.

Fill up a tool box for $50. Go.

Re: Fill up a too box for $50. Go. Keeping it under $50 is a bit tough if you want any decent quality, but here's my suggestion: Gearwrench ratcheting combo wrenches $30...

    13 mm wrench test

I am in the US. The Facom 440 440.JP14 set was ordered from Ultimate Garage. The cardboard packaging had Made in Taiwan printed on the back. I wish I had saved it, but it was just a board, that the clip was secured to and was pretty much cut up to get the clip off, so I didn't see any point in...

I don't know.. the screwdriver is made in Germany, by Witte. Not sure about the wrenches. Wherever they are made, they are very good.
