    Floor drain

I have an open drain in my garage floor with out a trap, so the wind was blowing cold air up through it into the garage. I took a piece of about 5/16'' threaded rod, Not sure unless I went out and looked, maybe 2' long. Took about 3'' on the end and bent it 90 degrees, then I took one of those...

    Hanging truck topper from trusses?

On page two, the first picture, http://www.1969supersport.com/jigs.html it might give you another idea, its Screwed into a 2'' x 4'' truss, and it is really strong. I wrapped a chain through the two loops and jumped up and down, I weigh 185, and it wouldn't even budge, I would bet you could hang...

    welding cart

I just had some scrap steel, so it is what it is, but it might make the cable that goes into the front of the welder last longer, because its in a relaxed position and not bent up. If you do one, show it to us. Rob http://www.1969supersport.com

    Another Compressor question.

Heres a little more. Sandblasting will generate quite a bit of moisture in your air lines, because of the heat from the compressor, as it cools. I don't know what you know about this, but you might know more then me, but somebody else might be able to use this. Sandblasting for the first few...

    Another Compressor question.

Its a single stage, and it has a pressure switch set at 95 to 125psi. I'm not trying to cut this compressor down, but I will tell you what I have run into. When you sand blast, you will probably need at least 110psi at your regulator on the end of your air line, then you will lose 5 or more...

    don't waste any grinding disc

Heres the first one I made,http://www.1969supersport.com/tools.html but the little discs had a short life, so I went to the more solid nut. I'm working on the edge of the supports that hold the floor pans, and after I plug welded them, I needed to get something in there that was narrow, that...

    don't waste any grinding disc

The metal inside the regular roloc is larger then the nut I use, anyway on mine. Give me a diameter measurement when you get it trimmed back as far as you can, and still useable without it flying to pieces. Thanks Rob http://www.1969supersport.com

    air lines

I run quite a bit of black pipe, about 60 feet before it hits the first three filters, then another probably another 40 feet into the paint booth and into another filter. I run a large bead blaster, it goes about 60 feet after the last filter, then a rubber hose into the blaster. I'm in...

How to weld. You have me thinking......

I'm a slow learner, and I can weld half way decent, I can't call myself a real welder, but you can learn it at home. If your just starting out, you might want to go to a regular welding store. They can explain different welders, and you will be going to them after you buy a welder for...

    air lines

I'm just a hobbist, but we have done a lot of painting, and we never use an air dryer. If you can sandblast without getting moisture into the sandblaster, then you will never have it in your paint. I guess I went through about 1100 lbs of sand a couple of months ago, and I didn't have any...
