I need help finding a contractor don't know what they are called

If your going to spend that much on an inspection, you may as well buy your own FLIR One and do it yourself. Plus this way, you'll have the thermal camera and can use it again in the future, or take your time going room by room and check the before/after results...

Compressed Air Hardware - What to Choose?

For the plumbing part of it, I would recommend Rapid Air. I am using their 1/2" kit. All of the fittings are 3/8" NPT except where the QD's go, those are 1/4". It's very easy to run, and you get 100 feet of hose, with 3 manifolds for under $100.

How to locate underground water supply line (PVC/Poly)??

Can you find it anywhere in your yard? If so, cut into it somewhere accessible and run a long fish tape through the pipe towards the house, maybe using a metal detector would allow you to follow it. Then pull the fish tape out and use a union to connect the line back together. I'm curious...

    Bolting Down A Safe

I'd use lag bolts for the two holes that line up with the floor joist, 2-2.5" is probably fine in whatever diameter fits the holes. For the other two, I would get these in whatever diameter/thread needed for the bolts and use regular hex bolts to go through the floor into them If you are...

    Concrete Driveway Sealant

I'm looking to do the same on my driveway, but cost is a factor, my driveway is almost 2000 square feet. My big concern is that it is also an 8 degree incline, is there a sealer out there that won't make it any slipperier when wet or has snow on it?

    Garage door monitor

Is that the built in MyQ setup, or the one that you have to buy the additional component for? My opener has it built it and I've never had this happen, our wifi drops out all the time, the garage door still functions as usual, just the app can't talk to the opener. If the power goes out, how...

    Garage door monitor

It shouldn't be Wifi, I've opened and closed mine from down the street before and I definitely wasn't on my Wifi at that distance.

Best place to get military spec battery terminals?

That's where we get them from for the Abrams tanks we build. I've got probably 50 if them in my desk drawer actually. So those are true MilSpec used in combat!

    Garage for the RV

x2 I was looking for a house. found one with a completely finished off 40x60 pole barn in the backyard, then realized it only had 10' ceilings with a 9' door. Would have been nice to put my camper in, ended up buying a difference house, that was a big factor for us.

I tried one of those, my socket is too deep in the fixture and the photo eye is blocked, the light never shut off.

programmable light switch for dusk to dawn

I have a few of these installed, since my lights are on different circuits. I'd highly recommend them, I've had them for about 8 months now, with no issues. Their on/off times adjust a few minutes everyday to keep up with the different sunset/sunrise times. They also have a program feature...
