    Metal roof coating to waterproof?

I saw that stuff, but the specs say it is not a waterproofer. I thought that was strange, so I chickened out and ordered something else.

    Metal roof coating to waterproof?

Agreed, those white coatings look like ****. I got gray, so at least it bends in a little. If I had gotten reflective silver or white, I would bleached the back of my house from the sun reflecting!!

    Metal roof coating to waterproof?

They don't have too many trailers in my area, so I had to order something. I ordered the 5g of the Ames Maximum Stretch. You can tint it, so I had it colored gray so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Engineered and made in America!! The youtube videos showed a bunch of geeky engineers...

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

Found a couple of pin holes in my 100 year old tin roof. Was going to just caulk them, but I think it is time for a coating on the roof. Ordered some American made stuff called Ames Maximum Stretch. Apparently it is used on metal roofs like trailers all the time. It also comes in custom...

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

Just spoke to my steel guy. The door weighs in at 568 lbs. Whoa! Glad I installed the heavy duty barn door track rated for 1200 lbs. That escalated quickly....

    Edsal steel top question

Note to self....when a deal looks too good to be true....the seller is an idiot. Here is what was delivered. Nice steel 48" work bench top huh?!! I did say I was going to modify the top to work on my existing bench, but this is a little extreme.

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

A couple of cool things got delivered. My Rust Bullet floor coating with RB clear and B/W chips. I also got some piping to put my vacuum upstairs and have two ports in the ceiling downstairs. Should free up more of my sparse and valuable floor space. I also got a really cool gadget...

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

No but I have considered booby trapping the door. At some point someone is going to test my door. It's a metal door. It would be easy to electrify.

    Metal roof coating to waterproof?

I am looking for something to coat the entire roof with, not just the small holes. I don't think I will ever find all of the small holes.

    Metal roof coating to waterproof?

I have an old metal roof that apparently has a couple of pin size holes in the roof. When it really comes down, the water finds it's way in. I have found a couple of very small holes, like a mm. I want to coat the roof with some kind of coating. I see that most of the coatings are either...

I got a Mr Heater for the garage. Will work great until next summer when I buy a mini split system. It increased the temp about 25-30 degrees in 2 hours. Works great!!

    Good portable heater

I got a Mr Heater and tried it out this evening. Put it on high with my Stanley heater/fan to circulate air. Worked flawlessly. It's around 40 and within an hour I was able to wear a short sleeve shirt. Probably about 65 in there. Worked great. Plus wife doesn't worry about CO because it is...

    Overhead power to garage....hard?

I work until after dark during the week, so this weekend I am going to go out and really look at the routing. I'm not committed to any of the solutions until I can confirm it will actually work. Changing your mind is a good thing. That’s your responsibility as a person, as a garage junky — to...
