    Overhead power to garage....hard?

That is an assumption you made. I am asking for help to install it right. If I didn't care about doing it right, I wouldn't be asking for advice.

    Overhead power to garage....hard?

Personally I would go underground as well, but too much work. I do not have a normal house like most of you on here. I have a row home with a row backyard. The back of my house is 14' wide. 10' of that is a walkdown set of concrete stairs (can't put conduit in there). The other 4' is where...

    Overhead power to garage....hard?

Exactly. That is why I need help with my plan. Never said I wanted to willy-nilly string wire over.

    Overhead power to garage....hard?

So I have a detached garage and after looking at all options, I think an overhead line would be the best option. Details are: 50' from the exterior wall to the garage 25' from exterior wall to 200amp home panel Installing a 100amp panel in garage Both buildings are brick. I won't be...

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

I don't get the door until next week. I'll be installing seals all around the door to keep out air. The smooth sheetmetal side will be facing out with the framed side in. I will be filling the recessed panels with rigid insulation and covering the entire door with plywood. Basically making an...

    Good portable heater

I saw that one mentioned on another of the threads. That's a great price on a good heater, but I don't have 240v to the garage yet. I just started fixing up my detached garage. I'm running off an extension cord from my house for now.

    Good portable heater

I'm not up to the level as most of you on here. My shop is small and I'm not high roller. I have a 200 sqft shop that I want to heat with an electric portable heater that I can put away in the summer. I'm looking to spend under $200 for it. Any ideas? I live in DC so the weather isn't crazy...

2-story carriage house to auto hobby shop

The bronco is actually coming from my Uncle. I've been trying to get it for about 10 years. Last year he finally crumbled. He says he replaced all of the rusty panels before he stopped driving it around in 1985. It has been in his shop protected from the elements ever since. That being said I...

Added some studs to the middle to hold small stuff. Had to cut off the heads so the box end would go over.
