    Placed my BendPak Order Today

Re: Setting up my new HD-9XW Thanks Steve - super-clean garage & cool toys! That pic helps me better visualize what I'm planning in my shop. I've positioned my power unit like yours, and will be working on the wiring and air plumbing next. I do plan to put a 220/250V receptacle up high and...

What company to buy a 4 post lift from

:+1: for GES. Kris (Kristi) Muro is the rep from GES who contacted me after I placed a request for info on Bendpak's site. Because she asked that I call her to talk prices one-on-one, I won't list the price I paid for my HD-9XW and accessories, but she beat all of the various dealer website...

    Insulate Your Metal Building

Agree with both posts. I have the sprayed polyurethane foam (closed cell) in my shop (as well as my home), and in southern Oklahoma I've never measured a sub-30degree temp inside, even with outside temps in the teens. However, I still treat the toilets and traps for periods where I won't be...

Generic slide jack on bendpak hd 7p?

FYI...I'm not going to list the exact price I paid for my RJ-45 last week from Garage Equipment Supply (I had to call them to get the best deal), but it beat the prices listed above. So far, really great to work with.

    Bendpak RJ45 fitment on HD9

This issue has me a little spooked. Am I understanding that the RJ-45 jack is dicating the spacing between the runways on the HD-9? I just ordered both, and planned to use the outer settings to accomodate my 1Ton Dually.

Sounds like the same process that darkk documented with great pics in his reference post above. Definitely the route I'm going to take. I also opted for the RJ-45 and the power station. I would like to hear ideas from those who've done it...which corner is best for the hydraulic gear, and the...

    Placed my BendPak Order Today

Thanks for the breadcrumbs, darkk. Your writeup is printed and will be used to supplement/replace the factory docs. I've got a cherry picker, straps and chains...all I need to do is entice my sons to return home for a few days to assist. BTW, that's an amazing body of work on your garage - easy...

Thanks, Crusty...that's good info. I suspected the instructions were written with extreme caution to protect us dumb consumers from ourselves...gotta love those lawyers.

    Placed my BendPak Order Today

Thanks, guys. The main bay of the shop is 30' deep and 46' wide, with a 20' awning and a 50x15 woodshop on one end. I'm having to make room (clear out a couple of projects), but I should be able to raise my truck to the full capacity of the lift. In that space, it will definitely be an...

    school me on metal buildings.

Well, you said "school" you, so here's my input. 21' for an 18' vehicle is too short. That's only 1.5 ft clearance front & back, which isn't room to adequately access the trunk or the hood, much less put a floor jack in from anywhere but the side. I have 3 metal buildings on my property -...

Yes, I finally took the big step and ordered a lift for my farm shop. A BendPak HD-9XL and accessories should be arriving before Christmas...fingers crossed. I'm a new member, but have been lurking for a few days reading many threads on 4-post lifts. Like many, I prefer to purchase...

    Another Okie

Ha...just a plain old F350 DRW 460/5spd pickup right now. Sorting out a few issues with the foundation before I rip the bed off and go shopping. I will post a bit of the destruction / construction at some point, tho. Just ordered my BendPak HD-9XL today! I'm PUMPED!

    Another Okie

Hi y'all, Signed up a few days ago...this is a post just to make it official. I'm finally getting around to bringing my farm shop up to spec. I've got a decent selection of tools and gear, but in desperate need of organization and efficient design. I've done many projects over the years on...
