    Ditching service disconnect

    Current service is 100 coming in 100 amp meter 100 amp disconect and the garage is detached...It will require a 75 foot run from house to garage. The disconect is not fused and the new panel will have a main breaker so that I can shut down everything with one throw.

    Hi, my house was added on to by the previous owner and the meter had been moved. When they did this they put a disconect on the inside wall where the meter is located on the outside wall. This disconect then feeds my main panel which covers the house and the garage is fed with a 20 amp breaker...

    If its to much of a concern....just cut out small squares that the posts would sit dig down and prep the hole and pour small pads the thickness you want.....little bit of work but not too bad and you wont be second guessing yourself standing under a raised car

    Nice Huh?....I know I know... I shouldnt brag.....notice the custom floor and oddball spacing of the studs.....right at 17 1/2 inches.....makes it nice to try and insulate....and you guessed it 60 amp service with screw in fuses.....dont be jealous...you too can have it this good
