Beadcrete originates out of Australia, and their US arm was actually recently just purchased by Pebbletec - the concept in using pebbles and the beads is the same, so I am happy to hear you've had great results! Thanks, I totally agree!

Thanks much - you are correct about the gap requiring a little more effort to clean, but we thought the benefits of having the stools would be worth it... time will tell, fingers crossed! ;-)

Hi all, I'm ready to order some garden hoses for my home and am undecided between Craftsman's All Rubber hose and Gilmours' Flexogen - they both seem to be high-quality products and get great reviews, anyone have any experience or opinions they care to share?

Sharp eyes there, Edgar - I don't think he's quite done, and you may notice a couple of other grounds that aren't in place in one of the other shots. Given how particular he's been throughout the project, I suspect by the time we have inspection he'll have neatened everything up!

The concrete grass pavers are made locally, I'm sure there must be a version available in your neck of the woods - the trick is to get one that allows for enough soil for the grass to flourish... I've seen them in plastic as well, but I felt concrete would be better in the long run. Thanks...

Many thanks for the input, most appreciated indeed - we're going with a 2-pronged approach, adding a new bearing and also moving the drive sprocket to the other side (closer to the door) to reduce the lever efect of the chain, and should have it sorted in short order!
