16 foot wide opening on fence (keeps sagging)

Are you referring to it sagging vertically or bowing out at the top of the fence? If you are referring to the bowing out, I would put a removable post where the two gates meet. This way you can leave it there when you only need to open one side and remove if you need the full 16'. Of...

Buddy of mine had an set of stairs made out of aluminum with a hinge on the top. We then put a hoist from the ceiling to raise and lower the stairs. Works great. We just lower down when need to get something up there then back up. Northern tool electric hoist does the trick. They were...

Sounds like a great plan to me. Got any spec on the fans you are looking at? I got 21' to the center collar ties of my shop on a traditional framed hip roof. Looking for a fan to put up there.

Killer build!!!! Do you ever plan on finishing the ceiling? If you are that may affect your fans. You could finish around them, make a box, but would make a sort of wind silo affect. Also moisture above ceiling. If you are never finishing the ceiling then I say good plan.

Got ya. It was strange to me too when I moved here. Up in Canada we would inswing for egress in residential. When you got 4 feet of snow up against a door makes opening a little tough. Beside by opening in we could use the snow as a beer cooler. ;) Shop is looking great by he way. Bet...

I find the outswing better for floor space. And they are stronger against wind and theft. Trying to kick in an outswing is a lot harder ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tilt trailer design, hydraulics and dynamics

Video goes through it pretty good. You sure that trailer is not pinned on that front axle some how? I think both axles stay on the ground when tilted.

+1 spray the underside once installed a bright color. Makes lighting much easier. I would use something like Kilz on it right now to prime before install. Not sure what kind of Ply you bought but without a good primer it will bleed through.

    New electric service question.

Similar to what the wizard said this is what I did. We have FPL. Not sure if same up in Jacksonville. 320 meter can on FPL's approved list. Then feed two disconnects. I have no branch circuit breakers in the disconnect panels but you could get the disconnect panel with a few slots as well...

    Home inspector electrical question

I am going to ask a dumb question.....where are the circuit ground wires in that picture of the panel? I only see the one green. Is that because all circuits are using conduit for the EGC down stream of the panel? So that would mean removing the green bond screw top left in the pic and moving...
