    New Workbench (Thanks Steevo)

Hi All, Just completed my workbench in my new 32x32 shop. Thanks Steevo for the inspiration and drawings. Only change I made from Steevo's design was making the boxes slide in from the front rather than dropping in from the top.

220/240 wire size and help a dummy

If the unit only requires 20amp that is fine...but code mandates if he is using a 25amp breaker must be 10 gauge. He can swap out the breaker to a 20amp and be within code if the compressor only requires a 20amp circuit. For wire gauge you have to go by the protection device not the service...

Just finished this stand yesterday. Big rig brake drum, 6" pipe, 2" receiver internally gussets to pipe, 10 top disc plate, screw retainer to remove any slop in receiver. About $50 in with the receiver tube and pipe drop from metal yard. But I already have a modification I am doing this...

15 amp plug on 20 amp circuit

15A "duplex"(Standard outlets with two plug ins) outlets are rated for 20A pass thru. Thus they are perfectly legal and safe for use on a 20A circuit. If you have a single outlet (only one plug in) on a dedicated circuit, then you should use a 20A outlet or a 15A breaker. Other than certain...

    Metal Coffee Table Build

I used vinegar soaked rags. Let sit on the area for a while then it wipes right off. It is messy so have some plastic or tub under. Oh yeah stinks so be prepared for that smell. May take a couple soaks to get through all, but doesn't leave sanding marks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    My First Garage (Build Thread)

Looks Great....Super Job. One suggestion on the wall outlets...You are right never have enough, but I would think about putting some mid wall like 40" or so. Much easier to use when working in the shop... for me seems there is always some junk on the floor blocking low outlets..Also good to...

    Bosch Wireless

Reading a little....you don't need to slide in the cradle you can just lay on top of the pad with the frame off. I think it would be a little more convenient for bench work. Leaving in the tool also convenient you shouldn't have to change the battery. If/when I need a replacement battery for...

Cost for 100 amp to 200 amp?

About underground you really need to ask that question to the POCO and then the building department. I did it at my house was about 75' foot run and the POCO has very specific rules..even have to use the pipe and fittings they supply, and follow strict rules about number of elbows etc. Here it...
