Nice.
I ordered a single 8 footer with the butcher block top. I initially ordered the stainless top, but chickened out after I started thinking about hitting it with a hammer. :D
Is there an appreciable difference between the bamboo and the butcher block tops?
I'm so out of room in my tool box it isn't even funny, so I'm moving out some of the stuff I'm not going to use. Feel free to make offers on multiple pieces, but please don't get crazy. :)
All prices are plus actual shipping. (People who mark up shipping should be killed by paper cut.)
Up for...
Any interest in a trade for a Snap On ratchet? I've got a few doubles I'm looking to see find another home. :)
The comfort grip 1/2" isn't for sale, but the rest is up for grabs.
I'd be interested in single color overlays for the drawer fronts of my tool boxes. Just something to keep them clean and tske some of the abuse.
I've got some rolling 5 drawer Craftsman boxes I just picked up and the vinyl would really spruce things up.
Thoughts? :)
Can anyone confirm the model number for the boxes? I'm having a hard time with Harbor Freight's site in finding those exact boxes.
Also, how wide are they? I've got 8' of space, leaving me room for a 50-55" tool box. :)
You can do it any way you want. In my experience, I've found the paint, mask, paint to create cleaner, sharper lines of color. :)
In a pinch, or if you're not as **** as I am, it'd be pretty quick and painless to paint, then touch up.
I'm trying to hold off on buying one of these also. (The 8' length.)
There's some kind of Craftsman Club savings events coming up in just under 2 days. Once I see how that shakes out I'm going to buy something for the garage either way. :)
X2.
I've been seeing the green ones on eBay going for absolutely obscene amounts of money. (I mean, to the tune of 140+ bucks for a 65 dollar hammer.)
Anyway, it made me realize I need dead blow hammers. :)
I feel your pain.
I bought a belt sander for a small bathroom renovation a few weeks ago. After literally <5 minutes of use and three snapped sanding belts, I took it back.
I like their stuff, but it really seems hit-or-miss lately.
Good looking boxes and your setup is high on my list for how I'm looking to set mine up.
What did you use for a counter top?
Also, did you pay $270 for each of the bottom boxes? If so, sign me up.
I wonder if you can add castors. I'd really like to be able to roll them around in lieu of...
If you get it worked out, I'd immediately relist it for $250k.
If the buyers were real at $250,000, they'll find you.
I'll take a quick $90,000 flip all day long. :)
