FS: Craftsman 41" Stainless 5-Drawer Top Box - $200 OBO

Where are you located? :) If you go to the User CP (just under the Garage Journal logo at the top of this page) you can edit your location info. It'll make it easier for people to figure out how best to do business with you. Man, I'd sure like to have this box top... *jealous* If you're near...

Is this tool box deal of the week?

Thanks Filtered. I've got a small Craftsman (non Grip-latch) box that I've owned for about 5 or 6 years now. It's never given me any problems and has served me well. I realize that people have strong opinions here and while I appreciate the candor of the feedback, buying this box for less than...

Best place to get toolbox liner?

Thanks. Care to share the link to the original thread? I tried searching for it and couldn't find it.

Is this tool box deal of the week?

I'd have to back and look, but I believe the top of the box (lid open) is full width. I don't currently have, nor can I imagine a time when I'll need multiple full width drawers. I'm a do-it-yourselfer. This should be fine given the space I have available. I'm not sure i understand how people...

what did you learn in the garage

DL: Just because the coil over spring looks small, it still stores enough potential energy to remove the tip of your finger when you wiggle it so it seats it properly and it actually moves. I bled for what felt like a month. :D

    Concrete Contractor - Unrealistic Expectations?

And a cost per day back to me if the work isn't completed by a certain date. If he's this unreliable BEFORE he starts working, this makes me question the quality of his work once he does. I'd start asking people I know locally for referrals to someone they've personally used.

Is this tool box deal of the week?

As much as I wanted a Snap On box for the sake of saying I have a Snap On box, I'm too cheap to buy something so expensive. :D I really like the HF boxes and for the money that's what I was actually planning on buying. At just under $900 bucks, this gives me all the storage I need and if I...

FS: Craftsman 41" Stainless 5-Drawer Top Box - $200 OBO

This is a hell of a deal. If you were in South Florida I'd already be on my way to picking it up.

Is this tool box deal of the week?

For the last two years I've been telling myself I should break down and buy a toolbox, but haven't really felt like it was a big deal. I have a small 6 drawer Craftsman basic box and sure, it's pretty stuffed full of stuff, but for the last 5 or 6 years it's served me well. Over the last few...

What's a reasonable price for this tool chest on CL?

I think the thing you have going for you on CL is that very few people seem to actually buy boxes listed there. Week in and week out, I continue to see the same boxes listed, relisted, then relisted again. I'm a world class low-baller. :) When I buy stuff, I like to put myself in a position in...

Finally started getting organized today. *wipes forehead*

I've already had those same nightmares. (Truth be told, I thought I had more room than I did the first time I pulled it into the garage and opened the door into a box. No damage, thankfully.) Padding is definitely on the list for those boxes. I've been looking around to see about adding an...

Finally started getting organized today. *wipes forehead*

Thanks guys. @JC23: I've definitely been thinking about an overhead storage solution, so thanks for the tip. Ordering and receiving the new tool box and work bench has been a little more of a hoop jump than I'd expected, so as soon as I can get it all in place I think I'll be in pretty good...

    Wall Murals

That's pretty cool. :) @ the OP: I'm in the same boat. I've got a long space in an interior courtyard in my home that's stark white. I'd like to have something cool painted on it and have been kicking around the idea of having a local graffiti artist come in and do a mural.

Finally started getting organized today. *wipes forehead*

It's a tow hook. Unfortunately, I know that from experience Ha! They do make small hitch setup for it. I know of a few guys pulling small trailers for extra wheels and tires, etc... for race day, though. :)

Anybody use Craftsman 6' Workbench Frame?

I'm all about repurposing today, so I just took my above post and started it's own thread for the cleanup project. :) http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112625

Finally started getting organized today. *wipes forehead*

Well, my garage cleanup/re-org has finally begun. In preparation for the 8' Craftsman bench and 52" box I ordered, I landed a decent score on CL in the 5 drawer rolling carts you see below. (3 carts plus the one rolling tool cart) It started with these, which got a nice helping of degreaser...

I'm trying to look it up for you, but the Sears/Craftsman website keeps crashing my browser. (IE, Firefox, AND Chrome.) WTF?
