That was our go-to tool to R&R the Hydromechanical Unit (HMU) on GEAE’s CF6-80C2 FADEC gas turbine engine. A real time saver as HMU MTBR was abysmal early on. Can’t say I’ve had recent need of the tool since but it clearly stood out in my memory when I clicked on the link.

Upon further examination, the outlet is in fact 15amp. Correction made in OP. The branch's circuit breaker is 20 amp, wired with 12AWG. EDIT some more: I did some more garage barrel diving as I had thrown out the whole GFCI and found this label that I thought had planted the 20 amp rating in...

Edit: 20 15 amp rated Leviton outlet, ~17 years old though barely-to-never used. Outlet installed by licensed electrical contractor when shop built. Located inside, dry location. Went to use and noted no green light. Pushed the reset button and “flash / pop” shot out of blade receptacles...

Also if your planning includes use of a VFD controlled machine, they do not like GFCI...

I prefer the old cast iron domestic stuff…I found this Rockwell combo on CL, was a real dumpster fire but cleaned up well…still searching for a fence/table (anyone got any leads?) for the belt portion…Tool will out live me if treated half way decent...

My closed loop (sealed system) shop HHS is heated with 50 gallon water heater. My expansion tank maintains / varys between 10-20 psi. When system is off and cold (summer time), expansion tank maintains at 2-6 psi.
