Hey good work on the SJ-18. Did you need a press to get those bushings in? I have a nice s-4, but it leaks. I still need to locate a rebuild kit as well, but I was told by someone else that I need a press to properly install the kit. your input is appreciated

thanks for the inside baseball with this jack. I did try taking a 1/4 inch drive extension and giving a couple taps to the outer (castle nut) which looks like it applies pressure to a round rubber ring that when the nut is tightened the rubber ring possibly grips the ram a bit more? this helped...
