6-pt sounds like the better option, but I've never felt like I needed them that much. The rare few fasteners I've rounded something with a 12-pt wrench were so far seized/crossthreaded/overtightened that having a 6-pt wrench wouldn't have mattered.

Used to remove oil filters on newer Toyota/Lexus/ect. vehicles. Has no other use, and no practical substitute.

I've run into this on occasion, mostly on brake bleeder screws. Had one bleeder where a Craftsman RP 10mm 6pt wouldn't fit, but a Pro 12pt would. Not sure if it was down to tolerances in the wrenches, or production quality of the bleeder...

Has anyone suggested a set of Craftsman Professional wrenches yet? They're good value for what you get, pretty well made, has the extra length over RP wrenches, feel nice in your hand, and easily replaced if you break one. There are also some USA-made sets still floating around...

How tight are these bolts? Personally, I'd try one of those Gator Grip sockets, lol. Probably not a popular answer, but I have one and use it on Honda/Acura spare tire hoists (five-sided crank). Works every time.

Frame angle gauge can be the cool magnetic kind, the cheap dial type, or do like most guys I know and get an angle finder app for your phone! Dunno about specific ride height gauges, I've most often used a tape measure and the specs for the vehicle.

Love it! Have been pretty mean to it sometimes, no worse off for it. The direction switch isn't as intuitive as the switch on a Dual 80, but I've gotten used to it.

We have a Snap-On TPMS3 tool at work, does an amazing job with lots of vehicles, but it's way too pricey for home use. The manual reset procedure on GM's isn't that bad once you've done it a few times. And $5 a tire? If it's a car I've done tire work to, I'll reset it for free...
