Ball End Hex Socket Set help.

So can someone tell me why I need an extended ball hex? I can see the use for the short ones, but what is the case for the long ones?? If I need a long hex for clearance to get on the fasteners I get it. But if you can't get to the bolts due to clearance (if the bolt is down in a hole) you...

So after I picked up the mm355 I found an alumapro push pull gun for it. It is used but looked like it was new. Only down side was its only 15' long. Then I wasn't really happy with the single bottle undercarriage so I snagged up a dual bottle one.

Sick Quincy 325, Please Help Diagnose

I'm not positive about the rod knock, but it kind of sounds like mine did with it... Also you can change out the rod and put a new small end bushing in it ( in mine the piston was trashed with more than 1/4" of play!! so I needed to replace it), with out a complete reman if the other stuff is...

    Automating dust collection

Here is a chart of recommended starts per hour for nema framed motors the 2 pole motors are normally the ones used in dust collectors. Using a VFD will help out with this as it reduces the start up load on the motor.

    Automating dust collection

The VFD in my set up allows me to to have a different blower speeds depending on the machine that starts the collector. And also change the time off feature. It's currently set up to run for one minute on high, when it receives a signal from the plasma controller (this resets as long as it is...

Any feedback on Snap-On's 10 PC Left Hand Extractor and Bit Set? Part # EXDL10A

I have had mine for 20+ years now. I don't use it every day but I have used it many times. They are like EVERY type of extractor tool, effective about maybe 1/2 of the time. As far as I know they are warrenty items and should be replaced if broken. I have replaced I think one over the years...

Major Project! Building my own base cabinets and Lista Vidmar style cabinets

There are plenty of resources for this type of construction. Just look at sheet metal fabrication for more details. How thick are you planning on making the drawers, remember to make allowances for the bending radius. I recommend that you spot weld them together.

DustSucker my fume and dust collector retrofit project...

So I was wrong about the load on the src's. It's even lower than I "remembered". The pulse on times is shorter also, so max on time is 0.5 seconds on 60 seconds off. The solenoids are only 22 wts each, so very little power. I went and looked at the manufacturers site on the MBTF on the src's...
